Canada, Eh?
Monday, June 28th, 2010It has never been on my list of travel destinations, nor has it really interested me until now, but I have recently been reading about some breathtaking nature spots there and really want to start exploring. I think Vancouver British Columbia would be a good start (since I live in Seattle and it’s close) and then I would just keep heading east until I get to Nova Scotia or something. Vancouver Hotels have a great reputation for being luxurious and very cosmopolitan, which is nice, but I think once I head into the wilderness type areas, I would look for some more down to earth acommodation. Has anyone ever traveled across Canada, and if so, can you recommend some can’t-miss hot spots? Thanks!
I’ve spent the last 10 years traveling around the world to some pretty exotic places…I always had a list of travel destinations–mostly in Asia and Europe–and have just about checked off the majority of cities and countries I wanted to visit. Now that I am settling down a bit more at home (don’t get me wrong–I’m still a traveller at heart) I feel like exploring some cities closer to home, or a bit more “normal” than exotic rainforest locations and high altitude adventure spots, etc. Strangely enough, I have an urge to just head up north a bit to good ol’ Canada!
