One has those tiny black and white tiles that look like they came from the 20s. They have stains, cracks, and an unbelievable amount of grout between each tiny piece. Way too much trouble to keep clean! The other two bathrooms have ugly solid sheets of linoleum. So now that I’ve been living here for a while, I decided it’s high time I did something about it. I love the look of porcelain tiles and I’m going to do the floors and shower walls of all three bathrooms with it. A friend of mine told me I’d better make sure to use rectified porcelain tile because it would be much easier to install. Unsafe chemicals will kill off the bacteria necessary for the breakdown of waste.)
If any rust stains remain, use a pumice stick to remove them. Pumice sticks are also compatible with septic tanks. Remove the garbage bag plug and turn the water supply back on. Flush repeatedly.
