My son is thirteen. He has had his pedal bike for about three years. Last week somebody stole his bike while he was at the park. I am a single mother and cannot really afford to buy him a new bike. I asked my mother for help paying for a new one and she said that she would pay half. This was such a relief because my son is always on his bike. I found a really good bike on Targets website but it was a bit out of my price range. I knew that if I could find a Target Promotional Code that I would be able to save enough to get him that bike. I found this website with lists of promo codes and was able to find one for Target. I was right. It saved me enough that I was able to get him a new bike and a lock to go with it.

I’m Single Again!

After the divorce finally going through after two years of separation and a year of litigation, I am finally single again! This weekend I’m planning on going out on the town. My ex will have the kids and I’m going to let my hair down, so watch out world!

The first thing I need to go is go shopping tonight after the kids are asleep. I need to get some cute clothes and maybe some black platform pumps to complete the outfit. I got some bright red lipstick as a sample the last time I purchased makeup at the mall, so I think I’ll wear that so I can really stand out. Now that I’m picturing this in my head, I’m thinking that I might be looking too much like I’m trying to recapture my youth. Well, I’ll try it this weekend one time and see what happens. Failing that, I’ll join the local bingo group and try and find some old guy.

To begin with I did a google search for “prom dress 2012“. There were literally thousands of pages to choose from. We ended up spending quite a few hours on promgirl.net. They have so many selections to choose from. You can check out dresses in different colors and designs. They have pricing for the dresses as well. Of course none of the dresses listed are inexpensive. A cheap prom dress hardly ever looks good enough to actually wear to a prom.

Group Costumes Are Fun

If you have several people who are all going to the same party or event this Halloween, have you ever considered possibly doing group Halloween costumes? This would be something like using each person in your group as a different character in a costume that involves several people. A perfect example would be if a woman was going to a party with seven short men, the group outfit that she could wear would be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. If they were actual dwarfs, the outfit would be even better. Another example would be if you could dress as the cast of the Wizard Of Oz. There are so many characters that if you manage to cover the main characters there are still tons of smaller characters that would still fit into the outfit perfectly. If the whole cast was already covered and you still had another person, he could go as Oz or even Toto!

A Beautiful Gift

I was flabbergasted to see my sisters on my front door at 7am in the morning of my birthday. Celine took the all night train while Anika rode the bus for ten long hours just to make it in time for the 7am surprise. They made a 15-minute breakfast birthday special. They even brought the necessary ingredients! So we spent the day laughing, eating and lounging at my apartment. After an afternoon stroll in the city and dinner at a lovely Italian nook we headed for a quick shower at home. The day was closing in fast then a little before midnight, I dropped them off in their respective stations and went back to my apartment. As my parting away gift and appreciation for their sweet sisterly gestures and memorable birthday surprise, they gave me not one, but three beautiful leather ladies purses. Such precious worldly things. I can’t wait to find the right occasion to wear them.

I never try and figure me out, never. I went to a Freely concert with my husband and my sister and her husband last week and before I knew it people are looking at me crazy. I went into the restroom with my sister and we checked makeup and I cleaned my chrome hearts sunglasses off to make them sparkling again. I asked her why she thought people were looking at me so crazy. Her response was simple, because I was wearing sunglasses in a dark, lowly lit club – at night! I shrugged my shoulders at her response because if they are mad I am wearing chrome hearts, so be it. It does not matter; they are made for the edgy women anyway. That would be why they had none, they do not understand them. I do and that is I take them everywhere; beach, car, work and just simply for a night out.
