Cancun a Beautiful and Relaxing Destination

Sunday, May 22nd, 2011

I must say that Cancun has proven to be the most spectacular beach destination vacations. Everything we wanted was right at hand, and the staff at the hotel couldn’t possibly have been any kinder. The hotel was just right for us, as well. We’re little older now, and while a trip to Cancun in our twenties would absolutely have involved tequila shots until daylight, this trip was a little more sensible. Not that we didn’t have as much fun, just a different, more mature and responsible fun this time around. Cancun is gorgeous, as if the entire country of Mexico. There was so much to do, and so many day trips and excursions, organized by the hotel activities staff, we couldn’t possibly have fit them all in. If you are looking for a great trip, try Cancun. You won’t be sorry, I can promise you that. Try starting with this website, www.cancunhotels.com. It’s a great source of info for your trip.

Living out Childhood Dreams

Friday, April 8th, 2011

When I was a child I used to stalk around my backyard as if I was an explorer or adventurer in some wild and distant lands. I was one with nature. I could talk with a gorilla or roar with a lion, and run like an antelope. As I got older, however, reality set in, and these childhood dreams faded away into the misty moors of the past. Well, I thought these dreams had faded away. But the more cooped up I am with my job and house, the more I dream of being out in the wild. I just recently learned of a Uganda safari where I could make my dreams come true and be out in the wild. I could go to a distant land and see lions and gorillas and elephants in the wild. I myself could be out in the wild and free land, which is where I have always belonged.

Turks and Caicos All Inclusive

Friday, April 1st, 2011

Most of the time I am toiling away at my desk bringing to you outstanding descriptions of voyages on the open sea but I am staring a series of articles about Turks and Caicos all inclusive vacations. I have realized that although many persons visit my cruise related web sites to gain first hand information about itineraries, ship configurations and many other minute details that are seldom discussed on other web sites I have been missing a large group who would like to know about accommodations at these exotic ports of call. Turks and Caicos is a remarkable destinations that, although great for families, is a particularly good choice for couples just wanting a secluded getaway and also for honeymoons. In fact, this tiny chain of islands in the southern Caribbean is very popular with American living on the east coast because of the short flight time and reasonable prices. If you prefer to take a cruise to Turks and Caicos the best options are Carnival and Crystal Cruise Lines.

Edison Hotel: Once the Home for Edison Theatre

Saturday, February 19th, 2011

While reading a Edison Hotel New York review I came to know that the once very famous Edison theatre was located in the Edison hotel. The theatre kept shutting down and reappearing for more than 5 decades. It was a big theater with more than 500 seats. When it closed down intermediately, it was converted to a ballroom for the Edison hotel. However, it got converted into a theatre once again until its owner died. After that it was once again and this time for good, converted into the ballroom. The ballroom is indeed a spectacular feature of the Edison which in itself in pretty spectacular. It is reminiscent of the New York City of old and has maintained most of the designs and architecture of the old. Though the hotel has obviously advanced technically with time, a conscious effort has been made to keep it connected with history and not altering the design and architecture much wh ile renovating and modernizing it.

Getting Going in Germany

Friday, February 18th, 2011

I really don’t know about anyone else, but I really hate when I am traveling and have a big question mark in my head about how I am going to get around when I get there. Sometimes it is like having blind faith and hoping that a shuttle or a taxi is going to appear at the airport to get me where I need to go. I recently learned in Germany that it is possible to hire a mini bus to get you back and forth from the airport. Being me, I decided to search “mini bus hire germany” on the web and found that there are a lot of places out there that can help with getting you from the airport to your hotel and from your hotel to your business meetings without having to hire a taxi to get where you want to go. Being a business owner, I know I don’t want to my travel dollars to all go to hiring a taxi driver to get me around and I am glad there are these options.
